Don’t let this quirky name fool you. Black Tuna is not black, nor does it taste like tuna. The name is derived from the Black Tuna Gang, which was infamous in the 1970’s for smuggling Columbian marijuana into the United States. This strain was produced in British Columbia, by crossing Lamb’s Bread with Herijuana. When these two stains are bred together, strong narcotic effects are achieved, and Black Tuna has gained a lot of attention as a result of this. Black Tuna has a pungent, woody aroma, with a distinctly earthy flavour. The high THC content in this strain has proven very effective in treating chronic pain, insomnia and mood disorders.
